10 SEXY HEROINES

We-okay I spend a lot of time daydreaming about my Heroes. What do they look like? How musclebound, how tortured, how..umm.."gifted"? Today I was looking at heroines. What makes a heroine beautiful? Well of course the most important thing is her personality-says the girl with the large rear end lol. For me-more than body type-its something in their eyes. The shape of their mouths. Their energy. On that note I've decided to share my 10 favorite sexy starlets/heroine types.
1. Rachel Weisz-she is my favorite. She has that perfect combination of innocence, sensuality, intelligence, and quirkiness. She's the librarian who dreams of adventure. No matter how risque she gets, the Hero will still look into her twinkling eyes, see her impish smile and know she needs a keeper.
2. Angelina Jolie-The fearless and blatantly sexual heroine with a troubled past and a good heart. The definition of sexy. She doesnt dream of climbing a mountain, she conquers it. It may seem like she doesnt need the Hero for anything-but truth be told-she needs him more than he'll ever know.
3.Salma Hayek-Beautiful and Vibrant. Passionate and Playful. She's just as likely to take the Hero home to meet the family as suck his blood :}
4. Ziyi Zhang-Vulnerability and a power she barely seems aware of are the traits of this heroine. She will fight to the death for something she believes in-but she needs to know her Hero will fight for her as well.
5.Queen Latifah-She is an amazing heroine. She loves life, she shines with laughter and confidence. She is fun and honest and unapologetically sexy. The Hero will be taken by the joy she brings into his life, and he'll know he wants this Queen in his kingdom forever.
6.Kate Winslet-Dreamy, romantic, sensual and sweet. Even if she dyes her hair purple, there is something a little otherwordly, or out of time about this heroine. The Hero will definitely want to hold her close and keep her safe-even if thats the last thing she wants.
7. Sandra Bullock-The perfect romantic comedy heroine. She can make a prat fall adorable, and a baggy shirt sexy. She will wobble, and snort, and trip her way into the Hero's life before he knows what hit him. And she'll do it with a sweet, unique grace that surprises everyone.
8. Jeri Ryan-Had to do it-the sci-fi heroine. More at ease on a space ship or discussing the ins and outs of transwarp theory, she's uncomfortable with the softer side of herself, afraid to show her emotions. The Hero will need to be strong and patient-and one step ahead of her-if he wants to get past her icy, Borg-like exterior. {Not to mention that skin tight jumpsuit-geesh}
9. Aishwarya Rai-This Bollywood heroine is all things feminine. Her movements graceful, her personality coy and seductive. The Hero will need to save the day, and possibly sing and dance, in order to get this girl.
10. Katherine Hepburn- Finally...the classic romantic heroine. Witty and clever, strong and determined. The only thing the Hero can do to shut her up is kiss her. But in the end, she'll let him know who wears the pants {or at least, who looks better in them}

Eden Bradley

My good friend and one of my favorite reads, Eden Bradley, has a new erotic novel out! Though she rarely treads in my usual paranormal waters {this book is contemporary BDSM}, her gift for literary erotica surpasses genre. Translation? She's a great read that never disappoints. So check it out!

BREAKING SKYE, Eden Bradley's newest e-book is available now from the Phaze Fetish line!
Skye Ballard has always wanted to experience her fantasies of sexual submission. She craves to be commanded, taken over. She is convinced that all it will take to purge this yearning from her system is one night. Skye searches out the perfect Dominant for the job-it must be a man who is powerful, attractive, and naturally dominant. But when she meets Adam Dunne, she finds a man beyond her wildest dreams.Adam convinces her one night will not be enough for what he sees as a process, rather than a single experience. Skye soon discovers that being with him only makes her crave more. And while he begins with the idea of training her to be the perfect submissive—for someone else—soon all he can think of is making her his, making her yield. All he can think of is breaking Skye—and keeping her for himself.

I Have Arrived!

I have a website. Yep, that's right. Jodie is the queen of web design, isnt it lovely? And she's been so patient with me too. {Thank you, thank you, thank you Jodie!}
I feel like a superstar.

I also have a CP. Oh yeah, you heard me. All those silent twinges of envy as I listened to others saying, "My CP this and my CP that..."{lol}are no more. No longer will I toil in grammatically incorrect obscurity. I am ready for the beatings to begin. HAHA

So-I'm having a pretty good week all told. The only thing that would top it all off would be getting that email. You know the one I mean. The one with the contract. :}

Ten Odd Things

MG at http://mgbraden.com tagged me again! I'm supposed to post 10 odd or random habits/things about myself. Here goes.

1.I'm with MG and Christine about the obsessive tendencies. I too check my emails 50 times a day, I edit continuously etc. But no, mine doesnt include housecleaning either lol.

2. When I like something I go a little nuts. A dish or a beverage {must have VERY particular creamer with my coffee, must have my hubby's special mashed potatoes lol}, an author {if I like them I read everything they've ever written, often two or three times}, a forum like Romance divas? {well-you know how often I can be found over there}

3.I sing all the time, commercials, radio tunes, musicals, made up songs. {which is why I totally related to MG's Valentine read}

4.I love movies and in my house growing up with a parent in the Industry-Important Dramas and anything with Meryl Streep in it was paramount. My dirty secret/odd habit is that I like to watch teen movies, animated musicals, old feel goods even my hubby's scifi B movies. Sorry Meryl LMAO.
I also love Disney-Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid and Pocahantas are my favorites. "Just around the Riverrrrrrr Bennnnnnd" lol

5.Even trailers for scary movies scare me. I hum and close my eyes when they come on. Having to watch a scary movie results in weeks of my imagination running wild-ESPECIALLY something with children singing a scary song or evil/possessed children involved in any way.

6. I talk to inanimate objects-especially when they tick me off. And whenever I lose something I ask for "The minute men" to help me find it. {Twilight Zone episode}. You know what? They do. Everytime. It's creepy.

7. I cannot wake up without a vocal request. Seriously. I have 5 alarm clocks-they could all be going off-and I wont even twitch. Hubby whispers "Baby, time to get up" and I jump 20 feet in the air. This is not as much of a problem since I became my own boss lol-but it was a difficult obstacle when I had an outside job.

8.I love butterflies-no matter what mood I'm in-if I see a butterfly-I'm happy.

9.I have such an aversion to math and numbers that I couldn't figure out Sudoku until my sister replaced the numbers with letters-now I love it. {She's a smart cookie lol}

10. ...I love being tagged :}

Anyone who reads this who hasn't done it yet-consider yourself tagged by me

What Did You Want To Be?

Fireman, Doctor, Lawyer, Wife?
Some people believe that what you showed an affinity for or desired to be as a child is very pertinent to your life purpose. I can see the truth in that, kids are very intuitive. But what about the children who wanted to be superheroes? Or thought they could fly?
I was an odd child. At 3 I cut my foot open because I stood on the only area not childproofed in the house {the porcelain toilet paper holder} to accept awards, and sing commercials LOL.
I flew off bunk beds and broke my leg, believing I was Mighty Isis and I could fly.
I had an embarrassing episode in a pool that belonged to some friends of the grown ups in my life because I was pretending to be a mermaid, and I was going for realism, so I wrapped a rubber band around my ankles and pulled off my little toddler top. {Boy were they surprised lol}. I also imagined I was rescued by a prince a lot-of course-I had my cool powers with which to help hurry him along.
I never thought-I'm going to be a nurse, or a secretary-I was more likely to create magical wizard experiments in coke cans and easy bake ovens that involved cleaners, leftovers, and eventually smoke instead of chocolate cakes.
I made up my own language-had a VERY realistic imaginary friend for years,basically nothing that pointed to practical employment.
Now I'm a writer. I write about magic and romance and{though I haven't hit on mermaids yet} mythical beings under curses and spells. Havent gone to any awards ceremonies and thanked the academy yet-but I'm ready when I do. :}
I still want to fly-still imagine amazing scenarios-still occasionally try to make my empty chip bag fly to the trash with the power of my mind-but when I can't-I now just make sure my characters can. In that way I am being true to my inner child.

What did you want to be as a child? And how did it shape who you are and what you do now?

The Saturday Seven

I'm creating a new list for myself-along with the Thursday Thirteen. It goes along with my new determination to find the silver lining in each situation. The Saturday Seven is a list of seven things you acomplished, or feel good about, or made you laugh etc this week.

1. I wrote this week-not only that-but I wrote outside of my comfort zone-pushed the envelope-and I think I did pretty well. {it made me blush lol}

2. I did my taxes, named myself as an author to the IRS-and I'm getting a refund! Thats always good news-and if I work the fundage right there may be a website in my very near future.

3. I did yoga and/or weights four out of five days this week. It hurt, and parts of me are still sore-but I felt better for having done it. All part of the plan to make 2007 a great, strong, healthy year.

4. I laughed a lot

5. I helped C.C. pick out a bathing suit.

6. I helped a friend through a very tough time-and they are doing better now.

7. Finally, my husband. If tinkerbell were to sprinkle that dust of hers over my head-he would be my happy thought. {awww insert hokey cornball sentiment here lol}

I like this list :}
