13 Facts about April

1. IT'S SPRING! The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing-the spiders are invading, humidity rising. lol

2. Several of my favorite authors and friends have books coming out. Crystal Jordan's Treasured, Red Garnier's Seven Sinners, Dawn Halliday's 10 Days in Paradise etc

3. The month of April was sacred to Venus, the goddess of lurve. That has to be a good thing. Yes?

4. April not only refers to Aphrodite, but it also means "to open".

5. April 22nd is Earth Day-and its also the day my first Samhain book Regina in the Sun comes out!!

6. Speaking of that-2 more weeks until Lifting the Veil releases at Ellora's Cave! I'm a little excited. That is April 16th...in case anyone was wondering. ;)

7. This month it's my goddaughter's and youngest brother's birthday.

8. April 30/May 1st is Beltane

9. It's National Poetry Month

10. The fourth week of the month is National Karaoke Week

11. The United Nations has designated April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day

12. WARNING: CONTEST QUOTE AHEAD “One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach. All the damn vampires.” (save this for later)

13. Last year on April 26th my first book was accepted while I was visiting friends at RT. (yes this is the same book that comes out at April 16th of this month-how weird is that?)

Girl, you're going to be busier than a bee in Spring! Take it easy, and remember to breath in and out slowly.

So thats what is up with all the poetry. I write poetry you'd think I'd have known there was a month dedicated to it. I did know about the goddess dedications though and who can forget spring... ahhh.

Spring? You've got spring where you are?

'Regina in the Sun' looks fabuloso. You'll be relaxed when it comes out after the 'Lifting the Veil' debut. Right?

I love reading TT's like this. I always learn so many little tidbits. Maybe one day they'll help me with Jeopardy or Trivial Pursuit.
