It's Here!!

I am so excited! Amethyst Madness, the Purple Explosion has arrived. I feel so lucky to be a part of the Ellora's Cave Jewels of the Nile series for February. So many amazing authors! Some of my favorites! Christine d'Abo, Red Garnier, Lillian Feisty!

I'll be blogging the whole month, I've even changed the colors of my blog in honor of the month. I'll have interviews and insights, excerpts and Odes. We're gonna have a blast! Wahooo!

1. Lillian Feisty, diva extraordinaire, has sold a story to Spice Briefs. She also has a story coming out Feb 29th with Ellora's Cave Jewels of the Nile series, I Love Lacy.

3. Crystal Jordan got her cover flat for Sexy Beast V--her In Ice will melt your socks off. And that cover model-whew! Go to her blog and check it out

4. Eden Bradley has been nominated for the RT Reviewer's Choice Award for 2007. Cross your fingers!

5. And Eden's latest release-Exotica:Seven Days of Kama Sutra, Nine Days of Arabian Nights is AMAZING! (I've read it a few times) If you haven't-you are missing out.

6. Karen Erickson aka Sticky Bun has a Ellora's Cave jewel coming out THIS FRIDAY! Virgin Jewels. Don't wanna miss that release!

7. Mari Freeman also has an EC release out Friday Beware of the Cowboy. Yeehaw.

8. Robin L. Rotham has hit 5k copies of Alien Overnight sold! Superstar!! If you've been on another planet-possibly restrained in some fashion or gagged ;) and you haven't read this--get your butt in gear!

9.On January 29th, A Spell for Susannah by Jody Wallace comes out from Samhain.

10. Emily Ryan-Davis, a fellow diva, has sold to Ellora's Cave!

11. The RT convention is only three months away!!

12. RWA con in San Francisco is only 6 1/2 months away :)

13. Did I mention my very first release ever-Who Wants to Date a Superhero? is coming out in a month?

Four Weeks and Four Days
Its a mountain of time
Its the slow second hand
Its that sun's trudging climb
Through a sky that is endless
With patience I lack
Although when it arrives
I'll no doubt wish time back

Four Weeks and Four Days
Til the fruit gives its yield
No more edits or hoping
All truth is revealed

Will they like it or hate it?
Hail or castrate it?
When you dont know your fate it-can cause endless stress.

Who knew I'd be so skittish?
So goofy, lack-wittish?
One moment excited, the other a mess.

And yet...

Four Weeks and Four Days
Until a dream that I knew
Back when I was too young to think-
"This wont come true."
Will be realized for the whole world to see
Its a blessing, a gift thats been given to me

I might need more chocolate-right now all I know

There are four weeks, three days and...23 hours to go

Chemistry

The Novelty Girls know of my love of old musicals-this is a repost-my favorite number. The humor, the sexual chemistry...Yul Brynner is yummy-especially when he realizes they arent dancing the right way. Meow.

So instead of poetry-since I've been sick and tomorrow I'll be even older than I am today lol-I'm putting this up to distract me :)
